GCPS SNP has had to make a change in the lunch menu to bring us into compliance with US government food regulations.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS and middle schools WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO OFFER PB&J SANDWICHES TWICE PER WEEK - WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY.

Miranda Statia - 30:06 - Finished 58th spot overall, 2nd place in her division

Ayden Statia - 32:33 - Finished 79th spot overall, 3rd place in her division

Courtney Mead - 36:06 - Finished 107th overall, 5th place in her division

It was Courtney and Ayden's first race ever, and Miranda's second! Way to go!!!

PTA  - TrueBlueSchools Program
trueblueThe PTA is excited about a program we would like to share with you!  It's called the TrueBlueSchools program.  Georgia Natural Gas will donate $5 a month (from their funds) to our school if you link your existing or new account to Brookwood Elementary.  Residential and commercial accounts are included.  If we have just 100 accounts linked to Brookwood, we can raise $6,000 in a year.  Go to TrueBlueSchools.comor call 1-866-ONLYGNG for more information and to link your account.  The steps are quick and easy to link your account or switch providers to GNG.  They will also give you a discount per therm if you use promocode: TrueBlue.  Thank you for supporting Brookwood!!  (See attached flyer) switch n save pdf

Education City

educcityThis is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family. Free Math Tutorial Access

  1. Go to the Gwinnett Online Campus Website: www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com
  2. Click "LOGINS" in the upper right corner.
  3. Username: brookwoodesmath
  4. Password: brookwoodesmath
  5. Select desired tutorial.
  6. For grade 4, click the "Content" tab in the upper left corner of the screen to begin the tutorial.  For all other grades, you wil be prompted to "click here" to begin the tutorial.
