PARENT SURVEY TIME
Attention Parents: Please take the time to complete the Parent Survey on the Parent Portal by Dec. 14th. If you do not have access to the Parent Portal, drop by the front office to complete a Parent Portal form. If you do not have access to a computer, for your convenience there will be two computers dedicated to the Parent Survey in Lab A during school hours. Feel free to drop by. Thank you for taking the time to complete the Parent Survey.

Brookwood High School News

Through December 7, BHS is selling premium coffee to the community to raise money for Helping Hands & Hearts (HHH). $14 per bag & HHH keeps $7 from each purchase. Order online using these instructions.

 

Another HHH fundraiser is going on through November 30 @ www.bhsbooks.com. Free shipping to Brookwood High of over 1800 children's books. Or, books may be shipped to your home for $5.

 

Brookwood Theater presents Twelve Dancing Princesses, December 6 & 8, 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Theater. 

 

The Marching Band is in the final eight bands competing in The Bert Show's Battle of the Marching Bands. Online voting at this link. This round of voting ends November 18.

PTA Fundraising Update

Sally Foster orders that contain chocolate have started being shipped this week.  All orders should be received by Thanksgiving.  We would also like to remind you that you can continue to support our school by purchasing Sally Foster items online all year @ www.sallyfoster.com.  If placing an order, please click on "support fundraiser" and enter our account # 10008032 or school name.   Also, note that we are no longer able to accept catalog orders at the school.  Please place all orders online.  Thank you again for helping make the fall fundraiser a success!

educcityThis is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family. Free Math Tutorial Access

  1. Go to the Gwinnett Online Campus Website: www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com
  2. Click "LOGINS" in the upper right corner.
  3. Username: brookwoodesmath
  4. Password: brookwoodesmath
  5. Select desired tutorial.
  6. For grade 4, click the "Content" tab in the upper left corner of the screen to begin the tutorial.  For all other grades, you wil be prompted to "click here" to begin the tutorial.
