We tend to slam the door in the face of Consciousness / Love -- moment to moment, hour by hour, and day by day. The Kurd's Lost Camel The Kurds Lost Camel
Divani Shamsi Tabrizi 2544

I hear that a certain Kurd Lost
his Camel
in a desert.
He searched everywhere for it.
But after endless searching,

failing to find his dear camel,
in sorrow by the side of the road, he fell asleep
in broad daylight, his heart,
in a hundred agonies, longing for the camel.

At last after night fell,
he awoke from his sleep, his heart still sorely troubled.
The shining ball of the moon
had rolled out onto the heavenly polo filed.
