Special Thanks for the Strong Support from our Community! We are so grateful and honored by the wonderful members of our community- individuals and organizations- who continue to work hard to host benefit events on our behalf.  The SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House would not be the beautiful, serene, comfortable place that it is without your ongoing support!

Kenny and Stephanie Morris resurrected the Kenny Morris  Super Ball Golf Tournament in May at the New Bern Country Club and hosted about 150 golfers who donated to play a beautiful course on a beautiful day, all to benefit the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House.  The weather was close to perfect for golf and the evening capped off a full day of great fun for a great reason, raising close to $17,000 for the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House thanks to the Morris' generosity, Penny's hard work and organization and the many wonderful tournament sponsors!

The Ladies' Golf Association of Morehead City Country Club also recently held a golf tournament that in part supported Crystal Coast Hospice House and our ongoing efforts to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the hospice home's inpatient care when they need it!
Members of the Morehead City Country Club LGA present donations for Home Hospice (Penny Carr), the Cancer Center (Susie Collins) and the Hospice House (Tommy Bennett and Robin Nelson).  A wonderful day for our healthcare continuum!

August 15-17: WINGS Camp at Camp Albemarle

A youth bereavement camp jointly hosted in 2014 with our operator 3HC for any youth age 8 - 16 who has lost a loved one in the last year or so. Campers learn that they are not alone in their grief and that their feelings are normal; how to deal with feelings of grief and how to face anxieties concerning the ways their lives have changed; and begin to view grief not as a process of forgetting, but rather a process of remembering with less pain. Download the  Brochure and the registration forms.  All forms are due by FAX or EMAIL by Sunday August 10 to ensure every camper has a t-shirt.  This is for ALL youth needing grief assistance no matter the circumstances surrounding their loss.  And because of a generous grant from the Triad Foundation, there will be no camper registration fee in 2014!

September 13: Legacy Dinner at The Boathouse in Beaufort
