 Our Blue Dog Shelter dogs enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner of their own this year!
All proceeds donated from Pet Parents who purchased a turkey dinner for their own boarding dog, helped to support the Blue Dog Shelter.
Jeni started the tradition a few years back. "We wanted our dogs to feel part of the celebration and not miss out on enjoying some turkey on Thanksgiving." Jeni, along with her husband, George Mather, their 3 children children, and slew of of volunteers and employees take on the task of serving fresh turkey and white rice to over 60 dogs. All of the fresh food is prepared and donated by Bob's Famous Foodmart, co-owned by George Mather making this event meaningful for the whole Mather family.
As a surprise, The Enterprise came to visit to cover this very special community event.
