J.M. Pet Resort is excited to announce our participation in a special study from the Center for Shelter Dogs, which is a program of the Animal Rescue League of Boston. With this program we can continue to pursue our mission of bettering the lives of dogs by building a bond through the discovery and joy of positive training.
We are seeking rambunctious, high-energy dogs to participate in a behavior, response and training study. Qualified dogs will be boarded for eight days - either October 28 to November 4 or November 4 to 11 - here at J.M. Pet Resort!
To be eligible, a dog must be:
- High energy and highly excitable
- Must weigh at least 25 pounds
- Must be at least 6 months old
- Must be healthy and able to participate in walks, play sessions, and play groups
- Must be up to date on vaccinations
The Center for Shelter Dogs will pay all fees. Dogs will be walked, have play time and attend a doggie play group. Some dogs will also receive additional training to address their rambunctious behavior.
Owners whose dog participate in the study will receive a customized training plan for their dog and an individual behavioral consultation with dog trainers after dogs are taken home.
