 New InkThrift CL inks Moderate longevity between InkThrift PRO and ConeColor PRO This is a new formulation which we developed for EPSON Claria® model desktop printers. These printers are marketed by EPSON as being able to deliver long lasting photographs from dye inks. Our goal was to release a dye ink that was stronger than our InkThrift Pro and would be an appropriate option for those currently printing with Claria. But we also wanted to deliver it in a way that was both a convenient and eco-friendly. InkThrift CL is not InkThrift PRO minus the LK, LLK, Orange and Green. InkThrift CL is more expensive to produce and is more costly to buy. But, it has more than twice the light resistance of InkThrift PRO. If you need to print photographs that require moderate longevity, CL is going to be perfect for you. Although more expensive than InkThrift PRO it is a fraction of the cost of what you have been paying for single-time use OEM cartridges.  The new EasyFill® system from Vermont PhotoInkjet.
This has been long in the works. Long in testing. Long in design.
We're introducing the new EasyFill system of replaceable ink capsules and printer keys. We have pre-packaged the new InkThrift CL inks into ink capsules. These capsules fit three different sets of keys that cover a range of 18 EPSON Claria printer models.
We are selling pre-filled ink capsules in sets of three each color or in sets of six with one each color. They are easy to use. You literally slip them into the key, pull the vent tape, and insert into the printer. When one is exhausted, you can replace it with a fresh one.
 The keys are sold by printer family.
- The 77 keys fit the EPSON Stylus Photo R260, R280, R380, RX580, RX680, RX580, RX595, RX680 printers.
- The 79 keys fit the EPSON Stylus Photo R1400, R1430 (US model) printers.
- The 99 keys fit the EPSON Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 800, 810, 835, 837 printers.
The keys are designed for a long life. We have fitted them with the best ink monitoring chips being made today. When the ink capsule has released the amount of ink that EPSON considers to be a full load, the replace cartridge light will come on. You just need lift out the key and capsule, replace the capsule, and reinsert into the printer. The chip resets to full.
The ink capsules will fit any of these key sets. An office or home with one or more of these printer models can keep one supply of ink capsules rather than keeping different sets of OEM cartridges that fit only one model or the other. We think sharing ink resources makes a lot of sense.
Once the ink capsules are empty they can easily be refilled. The pre-filled capsules are very inexpensive. By buying them in sets of three you will be able to re-fill them later at your convenience rather than in the middle of a printing session or a busy time at the office. You can buy as many pre-filled ink capsules as makes sense for your workflow. They are very inexpensive. You can bring your costs down even further by refilling them.
