Reagan Magnet named to Honor Roll list

This week Reagan Elementary School was among the Texas schools honored by the Education Results Partnership (ERP) as an Honor Roll Scholar School for high performance. The ERP website says the organization is designed to shine a light on schools that are outperforming their peers, using data and analytics to identify schools that are getting the best results for students.

"I am excited for, and proud of our Reagan family for being recognized this way," said Reagan Elementary principal Wayne Squiers. "We've been blessed with a great staff, and students who work hard to help us achieve these types of honors."

The 2015 Texas Honor Roll, presented by ERP and the Institute for Productivity in Education, recognizes public K-8 and high schools for demonstrating consistently higher levels of student academic achievement, improvement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps among ethnic minority and socioeconomically disadvantaged students. To identify Honor Roll schools, ERP uses the largest longitudinally-linked system of data in the country.
