Deadline for Transfer Applications is Extended

ECISD is extending the window to apply (or re-apply) for a Transfer until May 1. This is especially important for elementary and junior high school students currently on a Transfer. Please read more here for all of the details...

They're official; they've got mascots!

The voting is done and our three new elementary schools have their official mascots and school colors!

Buice Elementary Bison -  Lime green & dark purple

Downing Elementary Pioneers  Lime green, purple, & silver

The West Elementary Ducks  -  Lime green, purple, & turquoise

The faculty from each staff reviewed mascot and color choices and narrowed the possibilities to three, and those three choices of mascots and three choices of color schemes were presented to their students and parents for a vote. Our new elementary schools will be ready this summer! NOTE: These are only preliminary logos that were prepared to give families a visual to vote on - they will be tweaked and official colors added now.

We appreciate our volunteers!
