The Bonham Junior High School Robotics teams took 1st place in the Intermediate Arena Category (while competing against 30 other teams) and 1st place in the Advanced Arena Category (against 15 other teams) and qualified three teams to the State Robotics Tournament in Houston in April.

These results came from the Region 18 Robotics Competition at San Jacinto Middle School in Midland on January 12. The robotics competition is sponsored by the Texas Computer Educators Association (TCEA). Ten local junior highs, three elementary schools and three high schools competed in this event.
