The employees of IRCC cooked the chili and our resident's were the "Taste Testers". They not only enjoyed chili, all the fixin's but also some delicious desserts as well. The tie for first place winners were Dennis, our Texas Residential Manager, and myself, Maureen, from NY! Hahaha.. Texas thought it was in the bag!

Golf
IRCC members invited their guests to compete in the Annual Member/Guest Tournament. Winners were the IRCC Chairman of the Board, Duke Bickmore and his guest, Norm Beck of Boyton Beach .

WGA Champion-

Resident, Nancy Carroll took the WGA Championship for the 10th time in 11 years! Golf Pro, Joe Imondi announced that he has never seen that happen in all of his years working at Golf Courses!

IRCC Marine Wives Donate

On behalf of the IRCC Marine Wives', Judi Bickmore and Nancy Carroll presented a $750.00 check to Bev Skogard, representing Promise in Brevard on March 27th. The gift was a result of proceeds from the Marine Wives' booth at the IRCC Garage Sale. Promise in Brevard has recently purchased a 39 acre site in West Melbourne, in which the non- profit will build a campus where young adults with special needs will live, enjoying a more independent life in a loving and supportive atmosphere.

Fashion Show for the Womens Center at

at Indian River Colony Club

IRCC residents enjoyed a fashion show by Chicos Clothing at the At Ease Club, sponsored by The Women's Center, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women by providing support, education, counseling, information and service s to women and their families.

The services provided include educational classes and workshops, counseling, support groups, legal workshops, advocacy for domestic violence victims seeking an injunction, and information and referral.

The problems they address include violence against women, affordable counseling, homelessness, career guidance, and building self-esteem in young women.

The Women's Center first opened its doors in 1975;

Last year the Center served over 10,000 individuals throughout Brevard County.
