Please join us for the Falcon Art Community's first official concert! Morning Ritual is the musical project of Falcon Art Community artists, Ben Darwish and William Seiji Marsh. The group also features drummer, Russ Kleiner. On Saturday March 30th, they will be debuting music from their new long-form composition, "The Lonely Night". Described as "hypnotic R&B" it was awarded a 2013 Project Grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council and will be turned into a full multimedia performance later this year. This is your chance to hear this music in an intimate setting, the Falcon's "future studio" space. In addition, Darwish will be performing on a 60 year old Hammond "Chord Organ" that has buttons like an accordion. Check out the live performance video
featuring Shook Twins, filmed at Falcon last year.
There will be two performances of "The Lonely Night" on the 30th, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. Each performance is about an hour and doors open 30 mins before each show. The space only seats about 50 people per show so show up early to grab a spot! Cost is $7-10 sliding scale cover. If you're sure you will be attending, please reply to this email with your name and number of guests. Seating will be first come, first serve, but we will guarantee your requested number of spots until 10 minutes before the show begins. Beer and wine available for a suggested donation.
We hope to see you there!
