National Book Award

Check out our October display featuring titles from this year's long list of nominees.

Greetings!

The library will be closed on Monday, October 14 for Columbus Day.
Paws for Reading

Do you have a beginning reader?

Why not sign them up for a "reading appointment" with our certified therapy dogs, Leo and Anna?

Reading aloud to a canine friend is a great confidence and fluency builder for kids who are just learning to read.

Anna and Leo visit on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 3:30 to 4:30.  Sign up in the Children's Room for a 15-min. appointment.

Next visit:  Tuesday, Oct. 8th

Lego-My-Library

If you love Legos, and love to build, come to the Children's Room on Friday, Oct. 18 from 2-4.  You supply the creativity, and we'll supply the Legos! No registration required, for kids 5 and up.

Remember, the library is a happening place and your library card is your ticket to free books, magazines, music, movies, Internet access, enriching programs and much more!

Sincerely,

Amherst Town Library
