If you are looking to beat the heat or just the humidity, the library is a great place to cool down. Browse for a new title while you enjoy the air conditioning, or find a comfortable spot in the shade in the garden and nestle in for a great read. At this point, we're wrapping up the third week of Summer Reading and our kids are really "digging in" to their books -- they have already totaled nearly 2000 hours of reading-time!

2nd Annual Library Pet Show!
Thursday, July 18 @ 10:30 We had so much fun last year, we just have to do it again! If you'd like to show a pet, come in to the Children's Room (or call us) to register. Or just come on down to see everyone else's pets--there's no need to register to do that. Weather permitting.
Birdwatching in New Hampshire Wednesday, July 24 @ 7PM Eric Masterson, author of Birdwatching in New Hampshire, will share an audiovisual presentation on finding the more than 300 species of birds that occur annually in New Hampshire. Finding good birds can be summed up in two words, where and when. Masterson will focus on the question when. Finding good birds is more than just a function of observing the calendar. Wind, rain, and habitat all change, sometimes rapidly, to create ideal conditions for seeing the best that New Hampshire has to offer. Reserve your seat!
Remember, the library is a happening place and your library card is your ticket to free books, magazines, music, movies, Internet access, enriching programs and much more!
