With the assistance of Kenyon's President, Sean Decatur, and Bishop Mark Hollingsworth Jr., the Harcourt-Kenyon Search Committee has finalized the description of the position that will be shared by College and Parish. Please read the description, and bring this posting to the attention of those who would be well-suited for this joint appointment and encourage them to apply.

Success!
Thank you to our wonderful, committed Homestay Hosts--the Givenses, the Heasleys, the Lentzes, the Parkers, and F. Short--for sharing your homes this graduation weekend.

Did you know Homestay brought in nearly $10,000 to the parish last year alone? You can be part of this fantastic fundraiser too. Sign up to host by sharing your spare bedroom--either on an as-needed basis or only on key Kenyon weekends. Take some time to ask Hosts about their experiences; you'll find many have met fascinating people and made new life-long friends.

We have to turn away many requests for rooms because we just don't have the space, and that means fewer opportunities for hospitality and less financial support for the parish.

Rummage
Collection Complete
The Kenyon dormitory rummage donation collection process (while fraught with difficulty this year: vandalized and stolen donations, low volunteer turnout, and monsoon-like rains) remained a success, due in part to the support of Kenyon ResLife staff and students along with our sturdy Harcourt volunteers. Thank you to all who committed their time and energy!

Special Projects
Have you noticed the gleaming brass cross in the sanctuary? Donna Lewis and Jan Hendrickx have taken on the task of recording the history of Harcourt's memorial gifts. They have inventoried, cleaned, and photographed wonderful items given to Harcourt and are creating a book of these memorial gifts.

Have you noticed the gleaming brass pulpit? Thanks go to Joshua Yuen-Schat, a Kenyon student active in Harcourt's music program. He spent many donated hours working to bring the pulpit back to its original splendor.
