Call for Lay Ministers
A note from Robert
As lay ministry coordinator, I've worked out a schedule for lay ministry through May, and have asked people to participate, at this point, through February 8.

If you have the time and inclination, it would help me now if you'd sign up for lay ministry this winter and spring, or let me know by email or in person or by phone what dates you'd prefer to serve.

At the moment, so far as I can tell:
We are twelve acolytes and use three each Sunday
We are sixteen chalice bearers and use two each Sunday
We are twenty ushers and use two each Sunday
We are 14 intercessors and use one each Sunday
We are 31 lectors and use two each Sunday

There are 24 Sunday services (plus Maundy Thursday, which I haven't yet put on the schedule) -- between now and the end of May...and a partridge in a pear tree.  Hence, you can get some idea of how often you're likely to be asked to serve in each category in which you're willing to serve. And we can always use more lay ministers.

Thanks to all of you for everything you do at Harcourt and elsewhere, in these categories and/or others.
