Parish Discernment | |
Discernment Meeting Dates
One of the first phases in the search for a new Rector is the opportunity for the congregation to join together and begin to articulate who we are and what our vocation is as a parish. To that end, the vestry encourages every member and regular visitor of Harcourt Parish to attend one of these discernment meetings scheduled for December.
The following meeting dates are available. Please RSVP to the parish office by Wednesday, Dec. 10. (An additional meeting time will be announced in the near future.)
*Sunday, Dec. 14, 12:30 p.m., at the home of Susan and Doug Givens (a light lunch will be provided), Adam Serfass will lead the discussion.
*Tuesday, Dec. 16, 7:00 p.m., at the home of Kachen Kimmell and Kyle Henderson (dessert will be provided), Alan Parker will lead the discussion.

Free Fundraiser | | Gift Cards from Kroger Do you purchase gift cards for Christmas gifts? Did you know that if you buy them from Kroger, the parish receives Community Rewards funds? This includes gift cards for any retailer other than Kroger and Visa/MasterCard. Just be sure to scan your Kroger Plus card when you make your purchase. Also, if you frequent any of the retailers, consider purchasing a gift card at Kroger to use at the establishment yourself. That means the parish receives even more Community Rewards funds! |
Poinsettia Order | |
Adorn the Chapel
If you would like to order a poinsettia for the church in honor or memory of someone, please place your order in the offering plate or contact the church office by Dec. 15. The cost is $9 per plant (note "poinsettia" in the memo of your check).

Gifts for Those in Need
Each year we are given the names of local families who need a little extra help at Christmas. Please feel free to take a tag or two off the Giving Tree by Dec. 7. PLEASE SIGN the clip board next to the tree when removing a tag.
Purchase the items listed on the tag and bring the gifts back to the church by Dec. 14. Please DO NOT wrap the presents. You can either put them in a gift bag or leave them in the shopping bag. We will provide the parents with wrapping paper when they pick up the gifts. If you have questions, contact Maureen Tobin.
