The 2015 Stewardship Campaign is well underway. Pledge packets were mailed the week of Oct. 20. As of Tuesday, Nov. 11, we have received pledges from ten households: $34,300, 34% of our $100,000 goal, has been pledged to date. We are coming to the end of our campaign this Sunday, Nov. 16, and we hope to receive as many pledges as possible by that date. We urge all members and friends to return their pledge cards as soon as possible, either by mail or by placing your pledge card in the collection plate this Sunday. If you have already returned your pledge card, we thank you. If you have not done so yet, we ask you seriously and prayerfully to consider how you can support the mission of the parish. If you have any questions about stewardship, please speak with a member of the vestry.

Giving Tree

Gifts for Those in Need

Each year we are given the names of local families who need a little extra help at Christmas. Please feel free to take a tag or two off the Giving Tree on either Sunday, Nov. 30 or Dec. 7. PLEASE SIGN the clip board next to the tree when removing a tag.

Purchase the items listed on the tag and bring the gifts back to the church by Dec. 14. Please DO NOT wrap the presents. You can either put them in a gift bag or leave them in the shopping bag. We will provide the parents with wrapping paper when they pick up the gifts.

Parish House Improvement
More Work Accomplished Toma Lord, Susan Givens, Jim and Jan Hendrickx, Alex McCullough, Peggy Turgeon, Pat Leech, and 28 Kenyon students contributed (either by physical toil, work supplies, or lunch preparation) to the fall clean up of the Parish House. Sly Lewis also contributed skilled labor to projects that needed a knowledgeable hand. Thank you to all who participated!

Flickers

"Jane Eyre"
Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 6:45 p.m. at the Parish House for Flickers. The movie this month is "Jane Eyre," the 2011 version starring Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender. Watch the trailer.
Wine, snacks, a good movie with friends, followed by Joyce's spectacular dessert and scintillating post-movie conversation await you. $6 per person. All age 21 and over are cordially invited to attend. Please RSVP to Buffy Hallinan by Thursday, Nov. 13.
