Annual Meeting
THIS Sunday, Oct. 5
Join us at the Parish House following the worship service. We'll vote on new vestry members, review last year, and discuss the coming year. Lunch will be prepared by Canterbury.
Blessing of the Animals
THIS Sunday, Oct. 5

Bring your favorite critters (leashed, caged, or in a photo) to Sunday's St. Francis' Day Service on the chapel lawn at 2 p.m. We will offer Bible readings, blessing of individual pets, and prayers for deceased pets.

Veterans' Clothing Drive
Stand Down

Once again our Parish is supporting Stand Down, a volunteer endeavor providing assistance to veterans of the nation's armed services who are in need.

We are collecting clean and new or gently used goods for both men and women: coats and jackets, slacks, sweatshirts and sweaters, scarves, gloves and mittens, socks, new underclothing, hats and caps, shoes and boots, and blankets.

Please bring your contributions to the Church of the Holy Spirit as soon as possible, but no later than Sunday, Oct. 19. Label bags "Stand Down Veterans." We will be gathering this year's collection near the north door.

We are looking for people who can help get the harvest to Columbus on Monday, Oct. 20. If you can volunteer or have questions, please contact either Bob Heasley or Perry Lentz. The date for Stand Down in Columbus is Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Huntington Park, the Columbus Clippers' stadium.

Work Days
Beautify Our Spaces
Gather at the Parish House on Saturday, Oct. 25, (specific time to be announced) to paint, clean, and spruce up our space.
Thanks go to Beverly Hood, Deb Highman, Peggy Turgeon, Perry Lentz, and Susan Givens for restoring order to the basement of the chapel on Sept. 25. The Undercroft and Bedell Room look great and are back to being functional!
Intertim Rector Assigned
Sister Carin
The Rev Sister Carin Bridgit Delfs, SSG, will serve as interim rector to Harcourt Parish. She will serve as supply priest two Sundays in October, introducing herself Oct. 5 during the annual meeting at the Parish House following the service. Nov. 2 will be her first official Sunday as interim rector.
CROP Hunger Walk
