GMIC Sustainable Meetings Conference

What is it? The Sustainable Meetings Conference (SMC), hosted annually by the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC), brings together professionals from all corners of the meetings and events industry - planners, suppliers, service providers, and destination representatives - around a single mission: transforming an industry by integrating sustainability into the entire life-cycle of event planning and execution.

Who should attend? Passionate industry professionals who seek to support the promotion of sustainability as a core event and business value and a means of transformation for the live event and meetings industry. The goal is to expand the overall conversation and provoke discussion leading to solving some of the main issues that planners and suppliers face daily, as well as how our events can impact and promote sustainable initiatives in business and our personal lives.

When is it? Wednesday - Friday, June 17-19, 2015 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, GA.
