Dear ,

This is a request to HRCC and Inc. Board members to connect and engage with our social media to help spread the word about Riverside Cemetery and Conservancy events and updates. I'm sending several tips and links to our various outlets. Once you've connected with us yourselves, please share the links on your personal pages inviting friends to "like" our pages as well. Right now we have 1000 likes on facebook. My goal is to make that 2000 by Spirits in October!

Thanks for all you do! Great things are happening here and we want the cyber world to know about them!

The next HRCC Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, April 15, 12:30-2:00 P.M. Come at 12:00 Noon if you plan to eat lunch.

Sincerely,
Rachel Hollar

Memorial Day Ceremony

In partnership with local military organizations, we ceremoniously honor veterans of the United States armed forces, both living and deceased. This annual program includes a reading of the names of veterans interred during the previous twelve months, a dramatic presentation of the life of a veteran buried in the cemetery, wreath-laying by members of local lineage societies, and a keynote address.

Spirits in October

This guided tour puts a human face on history for hundreds of visitors who enjoy seeing actors in costume at grave side bring history to life. The Historic Riverside Cemetery Conservancy will present "Tales of the Notable and Notorious" during its seventh annual Spirits in October tour the weekends of October 16-19 and 23-26. Spirits in October is not a scary ghost tour. It's about honoring and sharing the stories of the fascinating people who came before us to make Macon what it is today.
