Holiday Closings
We will close at 1 pm on Thursday, December 24, and be closed on Christmas day, so staff can have time with their family and friends.

Also, the libraries close at 1 pm on Thursday, December 31, and are closed for New Year's Day. However, the Ludington Library has a Light Up the Lake family party from 7 pm - 11:30 pm on the 31st, so come and warm up with us before the New Year Ball Drop on Ludington Avenue! Book Discussion Group 
The "Rabid Reader" Book Club meets December 18th at 9:30 a.m. This month's book is the novel: "Ordinary Grace" by William Krueger.


Free Services - Online from our Website
One of the dozens of resources are available through our library is access to Signing Savvy. American Sign Language (ASL) is the third most common language non-English used in the United States behind Spanish and Chinese and continues to be one of the fastest growing languages of study in the United States. 

Other free services and programs include IndieFlix (streaming Independent Films), Genealogy research resources, Transparent Language Online, and more! We have dozens of FREE resources available from our website, www.mcdlibrary.org in the Resources section. 

 
Digital Saturdays
On Saturdays, from 12 noon to 4:30 pm, see Lisa at the Ludington Library to learn about borrowing ebooks, audiobooks, and more on a tablet or smart phone. More details on what you need to know here: Digital Borrowing.

If you are in the Scottville area, Chris is also available for digital help on Wednesday evenings between 3:30 and 7:30 pm.
