WELCOMING IN OCTOBER
WITH YOUR LIBRARIES IN
LUDINGTON & SCOTTVILLE
Fall is underway, with football games, leaves turning color, and shorter days. Need a good book to curl up with? Come on over to check the new titles that are arriving every day. You can also see what's new by going to the Library's website at http://www.MCDLibrary.org. DVDs, audio-books, magazines, and reference books are also available, as well as electronic materials. Our libraries are here to provide you with great reading, entertainment, information and education. There are plenty of resources and programs available at both Ludington and Scottville libraries for all ages to join in.
Lots of new books for adults, young adults, and children, plus DVDs for all ages, have been added to the shelves by your libraries. Click the 'NEW BOOK ALERTS' below to see just some of the new books and DVDs the library offers. Visit the library and check them out or go online to reserve them. Don't have time to come to the library? MCDL's collection of downloadable eBooks, audio-books, music and videos continues to grow. You can use your smart phone, Android tablet, iPad, or other eReader to borrow and read through the library's UpNorth Digital Collection. And if you love magazines then read your favorite titles (over 70) available at Zinio - with no check out or return. You just download and read - FREE. Need help with the electronic device? See the "Digital Saturdays" article below. Someone can help walk you through the "how-to" and help you enjoy digital borrowing.
