Here We Go  

CATMA Membership To Grow:
It is exciting to announce that CATMA is now opening up membership to area employers, in addition to our founding members (Champlain College, Fletcher Allen and the University of Vermont) and our Associate Members (Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission).  CATMA offers a comprehensive managed commuter program for its members, which provides their employees with a broad suite of sustainable commuter services, programs, incentives and education. We look forward to collaborating with like-minded employers and expanding our employee commuter champions.

Go! Chittenden County
CATMA has partnered with many regional transportation partners in launching "Go!Chittenden County". The goal of this initiative is to provide individuals and businesses with access to transportation resources that will save them money and reduce the environmental footprint of doing business in the County. Bike Commuter Workshops

CATMA is sponsoring two free employee bike workshops, bke 102 workshop 42012 presented by Local Motion. Register for the 101 and or the 102 and get your rear in gear for the biking season. Get a free gift, purchase low-cost helmets, and receive free one-on-one coaching! REGISTER HERE

Vermont Bike Challenge

May 1 to September 30. It's time to gear up for year two of the VT Bike Challenge, a partner event of the National Bike Challenge. Register at www.nationalbikechallenge.org for this statewide event where bike riders of all kinds log their miles earn points, compete with friends and enter to win great prizes. For more info from Local Motion click here.

Nurses Trail Bike Ride, May 12

Celebrate Nurses week at Fletcher Allen and register for the Nurses Trail Bike Ride on the Blazing Nursing History Trail in Burlington. On May 12 from 11:00am-Noon, you can participate in a guided tour in honor of Florence Nightingale (It's her birthday). CATMA will forward to all its registered members, a weekly traffic/construction alert every Friday, complements of our Regional Planning Commission.  We'll post this info on our Facebook Page, Twitter and website.  Please contact us if you would like to receive this weekly alert. For those who travel in/around/throughout Vermont, check out this link for statewide road closures, construction

CATMA will be sending employees who have registered in CATMA's Bike-Walk Reward program a friendly reminder encouraging your active participation in this program which provides $15 gift cards to those who commit to biking/walking to/from work at least 3 days/week!
