Peach is the Light of Love from above, showing the way out of ignorance, pain and suffering when you are in a crisis, and don't know where to turn. Peach is the light from your soul. The Nine of Swords shows an unhappy figure sitting up in bed with her hands covering her face as though she is weeping in fear or anguish. Nine swords hang over her bed in the dark, pointing down but not touching her, they only hang over her in a threatening way.
The Nine of Swords appears to be an image of gloom; all the troubles in the world appear to be pressing down on the weeping woman. When the Nine of Swords appears in a reading, it means that the situation may not be as bad as you fear, and that often the fear itself is worse than whatever it is you are afraid of.
The Swords, being the suit of air and the mind, suggest that many of your difficulties are caused by your thoughts, which often do not agree with your feelings. It is important to remember, however, that the thing you most fear has not actually happened in the Nine of Swords.
