Greetings!

nullHave you ever wondered what the sanctuary might look like as a giant Candy Crush-style board game?

I thought so.

Join us this Sunday May 4th for our penultimate meeting together, as we review an entire years worth of God Talk! And be prepared for some life-size board-game brilliance.

Reminder:

Friday May 9th, we will join together at 6:00pm at De Anza Park for a final Mishpacha picnic gathering [be on the lookout for a separate email about said picnic], followed by Shabbat services. Not only is this 3rd/4th Grade Shabbat, but we will also be thanking our teachers and wishing a fond farewell to rabbinic intern Jonathan Rothstein-Fisch. Not a service to be missed!

Mishpacha begins at 9:00 am, please arrive in time to sign in and find your name tags.

Wishing you an early Shabbat Shalom & see you Sunday!

325+ Jewish Teens Coming to the Valley

This May, hundreds of teens are coming to the Valley for NFTY SoCal's Spring Kallah!

NFTY SoCal and Stephen S. Wise Temple will host this event together, and they need our help in making this meaningful experience a reality for the teens. They expect this to be the largest Spring Kallah in NFTY SoCal's history, and with that in mind, they'll need more host families than ever before. That's why Or Ami has decided to be a part of this experience and recruit host families from our congregation.

So here's the question: Are you willing to host 3 or more teens in your home for 2 nights? They'll need breakfast, rides to and from temple, and a carpeted space to roll out their sleeping bags. That's it. If you're up for this mitzvah, please fill out this brief online formtoday!

Here's the tentative driving schedule for the weekend:
Friday, May 16: Pick-up 9:30-10:30pm
Saturday, May 17: Drop-off 8:30-9:30am
Saturday, May 17: Pick-up 9:30-10:30pm
Sunday, May 18: Drop-off 8:30-9:30am

This is a great opportunity for our congregation to connect with the region and be a direct part of the NFTY SoCal experience. We can truly support NFTY SoCal and the URJ's youth movement in their efforts to make NFTY accessible to any teen who wants to participate.

Know another temple family that might want to host? Feel free to forward this email! For more information, please visit the NFTY SoCal website, or contact the NFTY SoCal Regional Advisor, Spencer Hirsch, at nftysocal@urj.org.
