The first class of the three-part series! Once you have completed the series, you will be able to skipper a sailboat up to 42ft here, or anywhere in the world, with the US Sailing certification.
Locks & Bridges Clinic

That's right we are going through the locks, and under bridges with our tall masts, we'll show those stink pots how we get a rise! Going through the locks is not allowed as a club member, although it is essential here in WA, as is going under bridges, so lets do it right. Return time is approximate, as we never can determine the locks schedule.
Summer Sailstice

9am - 6pm
Enjoy a day sail from 9am-2:45pm, then a food and beer/wine garden (21+) from 3pm-6pm. YOU can be a skipper when you are BC certified/qualified - only $65! Bring your family and friends, everyone is welcome and anyone can be a crew member!

This is WWSC's 2nd year of a 42 year tradition on Lake Union! A Capt/Instructor will be onboard to guide you. This is a themed event so dress in theme, and follow the rules. June themes include:

Captain Eric Jonsen is our race coach for the entire event. You will learn the rules and techniques of racing in a safe non-threatening environment. After all it's about having a good time and meeting new people with the same interests - winning's not so bad either!
