Carole Steinberg Berk's
"13 Ways of Looking at a Leelanau Sunrise" Now On Exhibit at Martha's
 
Using the mediums of painting, monoprint, colored pencils, photography, giclee print and collage, Carole depicts 13 ways of experiencing the "seasons, moods, and shadings of a Leelanau sunrise."
She has exhibited her work in galleries, museums, libraries and public spaces in the United States and in Europe. Her art has also appeared on book and magazine covers and most recently on a CD jacket for the well-known jazz vocalist Sunny Wilkinson. Martha's First Annual Cellar Sale - Tuesday, October 9 at 6 p.m
Martha is pairing some of her outstanding cellar wines with her delicious hors d'oeuvres. $10 at the door to join the festivities. Special case prices (just this evening) of Martha-prepared cases will be for sale or you can select your own case contents at a different price. And you can also just buy a bottle or two. Entertainers Windy Ridge Boys
and John Rutherford Scheduled
The Windy Ridge Boys will play on the first and third Friday of the month in October (the 5th and 19th) and November (the 16th and 30th). John Rutherford will play on the second and the fourth Fridays of October (the 12th and 26th) and on Friday, November 23rd. Times are 6:00 to 8:30 pm. |

Wine Tasting on Tuesday, October 23
David Vranesich from Genova Wines just returned from Italy with a new line of delicious wines! He will be sharing them with us at a wine tasting at 7 PM. The cost of the tasting is $10 at the door and includes some special Martha hors d'oeuvres. |
