A friend nominated this Single Mom Family for home repair. She told us this... I lived in this mom's basement for a month. She is a very intelligent and motivated woman. She struggles with unfilled promises for work to be done in her worn down house. If you meet her you will see how wonderful and mature all her kids are. They are responsible and they love each other very well. I love this family and I want to see them thrive. She helped me when I moved here and was looking for a job. If you could help her, that would mean so much to her. I'd love her to gain back faith again and all the children to feel others care and give the hope of restoration in a very tangible way. 
These Young Greeters met us at the door where our team showed up last weekend to help this mom and her family with home repair. She has seven children and they are all amazing. Her 3 year old twin boys greeted us at the door. It was a great start to a great day.

Our Managers and Volunteers did bathroom repair, installed lights, baseboards, door and drywall repair updated smoke alarms, fixed other safety issues..... AND then some.

We were blessed to meet her children and they came alongside our workers to help them with whatever they needed. It was a productive day and all were pleased to assist this special Single Mom who is working hard and going to college full time to help support her family. 
Another enormously superior Be the Gift project. Thanks team and thanks to each of you who faithfully support us financially and with your friendship and encouragement. This year is proving to be like others- full of miracles and restoration!
