APRIL 2015  2015
Please Help My Friend.....

We were contacted by a sweet lady requesting help for her friend. It reminds us of a bible verse in the book of Galatians chapter 6 that says to "Carry each others burdens". The translation of the word burdens here is emptiness and void. So in essence by her simply taking the time and initiative of asking BTG to help Nancy, she not only helped carry the burden of providing a safe home but filled a void in Nancy's life by contacting us and giving us the opportunity to make this happen.

The following words are from this friend:
"Thank you, all the BTG team and suppliers who created a miracle at Nancy's home.  The new flooring in the two bedrooms have improved breathing quality and created peaceful areas per Nancy.  Thank you for helping clear out (& haul away) so much 'stuff' from her rooms.  I know that was necessary before possibly doing the work! She needed you!. THANK YOU comes from  my whole heart! Please convey my deepest appreciation to all involved.  Also I just spoke with Nancy late today, and she said 'They came back and stopped the leak on my tub faucet". She is so grateful for everything! Christ in and through you and the volunteers is powerful"

As we at BTG continue in this path of serving, we are grateful for those who care enough about the single moms in their lives that they will take the next step and ask for help on their behalf. If you know of a family that needs assistance- please contact us.
Just visit our website www.bethegift.com to nominate a single mom.

APRIL IS VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION MONTH

The history of volunteerism in America is rich. As long as we have been a nation focused on helping and improving the lives of others, we have had volunteer opportunities in the United States. We are especially grateful for those who have offered themselves to BTG who not only serve in our community, but do so out of compassion and kindness. They are the "heartbeat" of what we do here.

For the Single Parent Families, our dedicated volunteers represent hope and life and truly improve the quality and dignity of their lives by giving them a chance to have something better and improved.

Our volunteers span across the generations. When we are not doing home repair, we host parties, hold fundraisers and have many functions. We are blessed with such wonderful friends who donate time, energy and resources.  Many of our volunteers give up paid opportunity in their own business or work to come  and help us accomplish the mission of BTG

So to each of you we express a sincere THANK YOU. God bless you in your endeavors and Service!!.
