It is not only Single Moms who may feel lonely and isolated this time of year. The feeling of being loved is necessary for survival of all of us. If you know someone who is struggling, put an arm around them and let them know you care and have been thinking about them. To demonstrate God's love, stand with them in their circumstances and pray with them. This is the kind of life-altering love that we can freely give and share with others.

Call an old friend, tell your family that you love them and do something to express the love you have for them...."For no reason, shower them with reasons"

The measure of a man is not how great his faith is, but how great his love is. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love.  1 Corinthians 13:13.              

Special thanks to the following businesses who partner with BTG:  Bin There Dump That/Boulder County generously donated a roll-off dumpster for our project.  We removed unhealthy, worn carpet and pad and replaced it with laminate flooring for a Single Mom Family.

Ford and Associates brought a team of volunteers in and by the time they were finished- painted several rooms, trimmed trees, replaced window coverings donated by OldCastle Precast and provided a new clean environment for Elisa and her three teen age children.

Elisa is a good mom and like so many does the best she can to keep everything in her household up and running. She told us that seeing the kindness of the team who came to her home was overwhelming. We know the demonstration of God's joy and service that day was very evident to her. Our volunteers had a wonderful day and experience and the house looks great.
