CHRISTMAS SMILES
Holidays can be especially lonely and difficult for some of our Single Parent Families, so our desire is to make their Christmas special. We held two events and all the ladies and their children were given gifts. We were able to honor the Single Moms in Northern Colorado and the Denver area.  We love these events- we partner with community businesses to share in the need for Single Mom Families.

Following a divorce, they moved every year because they rented and not only did the rent greatly increase each year, but the properties were poorly taken care of. We have said before, the cause is greater than the circumstances. This mom took up her "Cause" of finding a safe, healthy home for her son and purchased a foreclosure townhouse- which needless to say was in very poor condition. In her words" It was very dirty and in need of repair. My son's health congenital spine issues, finances and the necessity of my retraining for a new job has left us weary and discouraged. We are cold- had to remove bad carpet before we moved in and live on the plywood subfloor. We do not have window coverings and winters are always a challenge regarding bills and staying warm"
