LIVING THROUGH SATURDAY
Happy Easter to Everyone. We are releasing this newsletter on Saturday morning between Good Friday: The day Jesus was crucified and Sunday morning: Known as Easter the day Jesus rose from the dead. Both days are well documented and have been celebrated for some 2000 years.
But what was Saturday like for the people back then?
Friday the day Jesus died was a tragedy of epic proportions for so many who believed in His message. Lives changed with the news of what they had experienced. Can you imagine the uncertainty, sorrow and heartache they felt that day? Then Sunday came with news of an empty tomb, a miracle of resurrection and life. What a glorious day-- There was restored faith, confidence and now the future was extraordinary. But what was Saturday like living between two larger than life and extraordinary events during that time. Friday just happened and Sunday wasn't here yet.
Isn't this what happens to most of us on a regular basis. News or events occur that change or rock our lives. We feel the insecurity, lost, pain or maybe grief. We live in those Saturdays between Friday's tragedy and Sunday's day of new hope and life. So let me encourage you this Easter weekend. I know we all experience circumstances and struggles that shake and change our lives but hold on because your Sunday is on the way!! We'll stand and believe with you that whatever miracle or answer you need is just a day away. God is faithful and His mercy is unending. Let's do life together with renewed faith expecting our miracles are just a day away.
Give us a call or drop us a line. We love hearing from you. | |

APRIL IS VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION MONTH
The history of volunteerism in America is rich. As long as we have been a nation focused on helping and improving the lives of others, we have had volunteer opportunities in the United States. We are especially grateful for those who have offered themselves to BTG who not only serve in our community, but do so out of compassion and kindness. They are the "heartbeat" of what we do here.
For the Single Parent Families, our dedicated volunteers represent hope and life and truly improve the quality and dignity of their lives by giving them a chance to have something better and improved.
Our volunteers span across the generations. When we are not doing home repair, we host parties, hold fundraisers and have many functions. We are blessed with such wonderful friends who donate time, energy and resources. Many of our volunteers give up paid opportunity in their own business or work to come and help us accomplish the mission of Be the Gift
So to each of you we express a sincere THANK YOU. God bless you in your endeavors and Service!!.
