MAY 2014
A friend read this quote to me this week and I believe it speaks to how Jesus wants us to live, I hope it inspires you as it did me.
"Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise, risking more than others think is safe, dreaming more than others think is practical, and expecting more than others think is possible."

In the Gospel of John, Chapter 4, we see that Jesus met a Samaritan woman at a well. He asked her for something to drink. She was a little surprised because in those days the Jews did not have anything to do with the Samaritans. She said, "How can you ask me for something to drink?" Jesus said, "If you knew who I am, you would ask of Me, and I would give you Living Water.  She immediately began to look at the natural circumstances. She said, "But, sir, you don't have anything to draw water with. You don't have any kind of bucket or pail. How can you give me living water?"

How many times do we as people do the same thing today? God tells us He is going to do something great in our lives, and we start looking at the natural circumstances and before long, we talk ourselves out of it! But we have to remember; God can take something that is ordinary, bless it and turn it into something that's extraordinary. With God, all things are possible! Let's look at the greatness of God,

stay focused on what He can do and embrace all He has for you!

AN HONOR TO HONOR
We love to celebrate with the Moms in our community. Holidays such as Mothers Day can be difficult and sometimes forgotten for Single Mom's.
We admire these ladies and the many hats they wear in a weeks time. We consider it a priviledge to honor them on their special day.  This year we held a Brunch and Bed Bath and Beyond household item give-away because of the generosity of our friends at Hope Springs, a local church in our area. To help the ladies

select whatever their family could use was rewarding.
We all need to update our bedding and things in our homes from time to time and who doesn't need a new pillow?  It was a great day!!
