The motion-picture adaptation of the beloved global stage musical sensation Les Miserable is set against the backdrop of 19th-century France. The film tells the enthralling stories of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption--a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.
One of the songs sung has a line which
particularly caught my attention.
"To Love Another Person, is to
See The Face of God".
Our goal and mission with BTG is to
put our agenda and emotions aside, and take every opportunity to extend an outward life of service to express the love of God. God wasn't loved first, God loved first and through His love, ALL things are

possible. Ok, so how do we love like God does? His example is that He brought His
best; His life and His Son to live with people face to face. He was where they worked, where they gathered, had dinner with those that were outcast, prayed with those who were considered unclean, went to people's homes, fed the hungry, defended the guilty and helped those hurting.
In the first five years that BTG has existed, we have seen the power of uplifted words, kindness and encouragement shine in the faces of those we work with. As you look at the faces of these moms and children, hopefully
you too can see the face of God and know how easy it is to engage and impart something special into another's life.
Now I am really going back to the old song written by The Monotones that goes like this... "Now I wonder wonder who ooouuu who, Who wrote the book of love. Tell me tell me tell me, Oh who wrote the book of love. I've got to
know the answer , was it someone
from above?"
So, I ask, who really wrote the book of love---- someone from above? I believe so!!
