What's New at www.ecoplum.com June 2013 Newsletter
|
Greetings!
It's finally unofficially summer! So happy to be wearing shorts again. As we end the school year and move into camp and vacation season, it's a great time to clear out our clutter, pack up our winter gear, and start celebrating Dads, Grads and Outdoor Bashes! But before we do, let's take a look at the wonderful moms we celebrated in May with our EcoPlum Salutes Green Moms series. First we honored our good friends who started the NYC Schools Composting Pilot - their story is truly inspirational! Dede did a nice piece about new mom Kristen Bell, and Chryso paid tribute to the moms who started the safe cosmetics product lines we carry here at EcoPlum!
And now on to Dads! We'll have some nice stories about our inspirational Dads this month, and we are running a Free Shipping promotion through Father's Day! Here are some of our favorite gifts for Dad: If you are stressing out about packing for your little camper, how about sending him or her off with comfortable and healthy eco friendly clothing? Our Dhana EcoKids line has the organic tees, polos, and summer dresses to keep your camper cool, and our Repair the World line has the comfy sweats and hoodies to warm them up on those cool summer nights by the lake.
Have a graduate you are celebrating this month? Check out our amazing line of fair trade jewelry from Shanti Boutique, our gorgeous handmade jewelry from Bottled Up Designs, our one of a kind handbags from Basmati Bags or our new e-gift cards!
Finally, let's get ready to party - outside! What's better than backyard barbeques and patio dining? Robin has the skinny on eco friendly entertaining as we head into the summer. And check out my post on what to do with all those food scraps after the party!
Wishing you all a very HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
