January 2013 Newsletter
Greetings!

Happy 2013 - hope the year is off to a wonderful start for you!  I love this time of year.  Yeah, it may be cold and dark and all, but I find that January is about renewals and starting over. On that note, Silvia, Chryso, and Dede all give us their thoughts on green living in the new year.  Bobby has an interesting take on the relationship between food and health, and I'm back with another "Viewsletter" - this time talking about safe cosmetics.  Looking ahead to February, Robin has some great eco friendly gift ideas for Valentine's Day.

Not sure what to get your valentine? Why not get something that both your valentine and the earth will appreciate?  Some of our favorite eco friendly gift selections for Valentine's Day include Gift Baskets, Fair Trade Coffee and Chocolate, Handmade Jewelry, Handbags, and Lingerie! Please enjoy a 15% discount in our shop through Valentine's Day with code VDAY13 at checkout.

Also, if you are in the NYC area, please join me this coming Tuesday, February 5th for a conversation on Food and Fracking, hosted by Helen Rosenthal for City Council.  It will be at the beautiful studio of Mary and Peter Max.  Would love to see you there - please see below for details.

Hope you enjoy this month's edition of our newsletter!

Best regards,
