Demystifying NP Practice in Alberta

CARNA Deputy Registrar Barbara Waters and other Alberta nurse practitioners discuss how NPs contribute to care and why these RNs became nurse practitioners. Hosted by Alberta Health Services Health Professions Strategy and Practice.

Watch the webinar any time here.

The nursing profession wants YOU!

An effective Provincial Council needs members from a variety of practice areas with different levels of education and experience. For example, of the 13 RN members on provincial council this year, three hold a PhD, five hold a master's degree (two of these are NPs), three hold a BScN degree and two hold a diploma.
