Health Canada decision a milestone for NP practice

The recent approval by Health Canada of the New Classes of Practitioners Regulations (NCPR) eliminates a significant barrier for regulators to authorize nurse practitioners, midwives and podiatrists to prescribe controlled drugs and substances.
