WLT-US Conservation News: SPECIAL EDITION

Read the Winter Edition of WLT-US Rainforest Bulletin Online TODAY!

Season's Greetings! I'm delighted to share with you the electronic version of our Winter 2012 Rainforest Bulletin. In this issue, we highlight recent successes and exciting new projects. We are thrilled to report the expansion of reserves in Paraguay and Ecuador as well as the declaration of 148,410 acres for indigenous peoples.

Presently we have four urgent projects underway, with efforts to purchase critical rainforest habitat for the Cotton-top Tamarin in Colombia, the Northern Brown Howler Monkey in Brazil, and the El Oro Parakeet in Ecuador, plus protecting indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon.

I hope this newsletter brings home the sheer scale of our ambition and shows just what it takes to effectively conserve the world's most precious rainforests and species.

Many thanks for your support in 2012 and I look forward to working with you in 2013,
