Upcoming Know & Go Sessions
Amigos will be offering two informative Know & Go sessions in the coming weeks: RDA - To Implement or Not to Implement, and Free Resources for Collections Care.

RDA - To Implement or Not to Implement is scheduled for October 14, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CDT. Join Bill Walker, Amigos' Imaging Field Services Officer, in this hour-long session and explore issues related to RDA implementation, including decisions in applying RDA instructions, ILS systems and RDA-MARC 21 fields, and the latest on BibFrame, the replacement for MARC 21. Register on the Amigos website.

 

Free Resources for Collections Care is scheduled for October 21, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CDT. Join Gina Minks, Imaging & Preservation Service Manager, for this one-hour session and learn about key free web resources as well as various organizations that can assist in providing more information on collection care.
