Upcoming Know & Go Sessions

Amigos is offering two informative Know & Go sessions in the coming weeks: The New WorldShare ILL, and Applying for a NEH PAG.

The New WorldShare ILL is scheduled for February 25 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CST. Join Tim Prather, Amigos' Continuing Education Librarian, for an information-packed hour and learn about OCLC WorldShare Interlibrary Loan, a new service replacing WorldCat Resource Sharing. This new service will centralize workflows now managed in multiple systems, providing new functionality that speeds fulfillment of ILL requests while saving time for library staff and users. Register on the Amigos website.

Applying for a NEH PAG is scheduled for March 11 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CDT. Join Gina Minks, Imaging & Preservation Service Manager, for this hour-long session to learn the importance of the Preservation Assistance Grants (PAGs) from the National Endowment for the Humanities, which are due in May. Learn the kinds of projects that can be funded as well as the guidelines and application process for the grant. Register on the Amigos website.

Amigos has expanded no-charge benefits for members to include the popular Know & Go online educational series. Know & Go sessions are offered twice monthly on Monday afternoons. Visit the Amigos website for other timely Know & Go topics in the coming months.
