DRESS CODE AND STUDENT APPEARANCE REMINDERS
All students must be in school uniform each day.
ALL boys must wear a belt every day.
Our Friday Spirit Day dress code does not include jeans.
ALL outwear must be official Westlake wear.
Students may not wear Uggs/Ugg-like boots unless the temperature drops to 35 degrees or less.
Girls may not dye, tip, or color their hair an unnatural color.
Boys must have hair trimmed around ears, above collar, and out of their eyes.
MOMS IN PRAYER
Moms in Prayer meets every Wednesday morning just after dropoff (8:30 am) in the Family Room which is located in the narthex just outside the church Sanctuary.
Please join us as we pray for our children, our families and the school.
ELEMENTARY AWARDS AND BIRTHDAY CHAPEL SET FOR WEDNESDAY
Our monthly awards chapel and birthday celebration will be held in chapel this Wednesday, January 9. Parents are welcome to attend. 3r-5th grade chapel is at 845am. K-2nd grade chapel is at 9:15am.
2012 - 2013 YEARBOOK: REMEMBERING OUR BLUE RIBBON YEAR
There is still time if you'd like to purchase a personal dedication or engrave the front cover of your yearbook. Order forms are in the School Office. Your actual dedication and photos will be due in the office no later than Friday, January 11, 2013.

JEFFERSON BANK TO RETURN TO CAMPUS ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16
It's time to deposit all that Christmas money from Aunt Betty! A representative from our Partner-in-education, Jefferson Bank, will be on campus to accept deposits next Wednesday at 8:00am.

NEW ACTIVITY AFTER-SCHOOL CHESS PROGRAM TO BEGIN ON JAN. 25
Westlake will be sponsoring an after-school Chess Program each Friday, beginning on January 25th. This program will be open to students in grades 1st through 8th grades. Look for more information coming soon, but mark your calendars now!
