Yoga in the Park

This free, outdoor yoga class is perfect for all levels (no experience needed) and is free and open to the public!

Please bring your own water bottle and yoga mat. Children under 18 should be with an adult guardian.

In case of rain, the free class will be moved to: Flow Yoga Studio, 421 George St., De Pere. Due to space, indoor classes will be limited to the first 25 participants.

Keller, Planners, Architects and Builders, a design/build general contractor with offices in the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau, will build a 5,100 square foot shop addition for Gibbsville Implement under the direction of Keller Project Manager, Bob Poch, and Architect, Steve Klessig. Owners, Jerry and Jane Deblaey, are building the addition to better serve their customers. Gibbsville Implement services all makes and models of farm equipment, skidloaders and lawn and garden equipment. Located at W4927 Clearview Road in Waldo, construction has begun and is expected to be completed in October, 2014. View full news release here.


Keller, Planners, Architects and Builders, a design/build general contractor with offices in the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau, will design and build a 4,550 square foot bus maintenance facility for Lamers Bus Lines under the direction of Keller Project Manager, Mark Nysted, and Architect, Steve Klessig. Keller has built over 30 projects for Lamers Bus Lines over the past 29 years.Owners, Allen and Kevin Lamers, are building the bus maintenance facility to better serve the Waupun School District. The facility will have two service bays and one wash bay. To be located on Storbeck Drive in Waupun, construction has begun and is expected to be completed in October, 2014. US 41 Project 
Lane Closures 
August 25th-29th


Drivers should anticipate various overnight single lane closures on southbound and northbound US 41 along the entire Brown County corridor from south of Glory Road to Lineville Road. Lane closures can vary along the corridor, so drivers are urged to stay alert, pay attention to road signs, slow down and use caution when entering any work zone. The US 41 Project plans to have at least one lane of traffic open at all times on both northbound and southbound US 41 during construction. This does not include closures by local authorities for accidents or unusual incidents (such as weather).

21 Day closure and 60-day closures at Shawano interchange

The northbound US 41 exit ramp to eastbound Shawano Avenue will close for a maximum of 21 days starting Monday, July 28th. Shawano Avenue from Taylor Street to Packerland Drive and all other Shawano interchange ramps closed July 7 for 6o days.

WIS 29 detour is as follows:
  • Westbound WIS 29 will be detoured at Military Avenue, take Military south to Mason Street and Mason west to US 41 northbound and follow US 41 northbound to the new WIS 29 westbound flyover ramp.
  • Eastbound WIS 29 will be detoured south on US 41 to WIS 172, take WIS 172 eastbound to I-43 southbound to the WIS 29 exit.

Lineville Road 60 day closure

 

Lineville Road (County M) interchange, including the Lineville Road bridge, will be CLOSED for 60 days starting Monday, August 18th. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes as early as 12am Monday morning. The interchange will be shut down for a maximum of 60 days.  

 

The closure includes:

  • US 41/Lineville Road interchange ramps
  • Lineville Road between West Deerfield and Lakeview Drive (County Road J)
  • Lineville Road intersection with West Deerfield Avenue
  • Lineville Road intersection with East Deerfield Avenue (note: only East Deerfield Avenue will be able to cross Lineville Road. East Deerfield will remain open for access to local businesses).

Alternate routes:

  • Use Lakeview Drive or County B as an alternate route across US 41.
  • USe County B and Velp Avenue interchanges for access to and from US 41 (note: Velp Avenue could experience heavy delays if used as an alternate route).

 WIS 172

  

The following ramps will be closed:

 

  • Westbound WIS 172 to northbound US 41 ramp will be closed overnight on Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.
    • WIS 172 traffic seeking northbound US 41 will be detoured off at Pilgrim Way, take Pilgrim Way east to Ashland Avenue, follow Ashland Avenue north to Lombardi Avenue, and take Lombardi Avenue west to northbound US 41.
  • Northbound US 41 to eastbound WIS 172 ramp will be closed overnight on Thursday from 6pm to 6am. In addition, eastbound WIS 172 between Babcock Road and Ashland Avenue will have single lane closures during that timeframe.
    • Northbound US 41 traffic seeking eastbound WIS 172 will be detoured off at Ashland Avenue, take Ashland Avenue north to Vanderperren Way and take Vanderperren Way west to eastbound WIS 172 entrance ramp.

Velp Avenue

 

Drivers can expect single lane closures on eastbound and westbound Velp Avenue between Riverview Drive and Melody Drive on Monday and Tuesday from 7pm to 5am.  

 

I-43

 

The following ramps will be closed:

  • Northbound I-43 ramp to southbound US 41 will be closed on Thursday from 8pm to 5am.
    • Northbound I-43 traffic will be detoured off at Atkinson Drive, take Atkinson Drive south to Velp Avenue and follow Velp Avenue west to southbound US 41.
  • Southbound US 41 ramp to southbound I-43 will be closed overnight on Thursday from 8pm to 5am.
    • Southbound US 41 traffic seeking southbound I-43 will be detoured off at Velp Avenue, follow Velp Avenue east to Atkinson Drive and take Atkinson Drive north to southbound I-43.

Local Roads

 

Ramada Way between Parkview Road and Oneida Street has a FULL CLOSURE. Access to local businesses on Ramada Way will be maintained.
