Greetings!
Did you watch the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics the past three weeks? Well, it wrapped up last night in a beautiful closing ceremony! The USA Team walked away with 28 medals, this includes 9 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 12 bronze medals!
What I always find interesting and really neat about the Olympics is not only that men and women from countries around the world come together to compete in the sports they love. But that if you watch the events, you see that they are all very friendly to each other, hugging and congratulating each other, even when they are pushed off the podium by someone who does better than them. There was never any bragging or fighting, as we often see in sporting competitions. As different nations we don't always agree, and we certainly live our lives differently in each nation, but for these three weeks, these extraordinary people represent their nations in a great way, and that is by bringing us all a little bit closer, all in the name of love for their sports.
Have a wonderful week!

US 41 Project Lane Closures February 24-28
US 41
Drivers should anticipate various overnight single lane closures on southbound and northbound US 41 along the entire Brown County corridor from south of Scheuring Road to Lineville Road. Lane closures can vary along the corridor, so frivers are urged to stay alert, pay attention to road signs, slow down and use caution when entering any work zone. The US 41 Project plans to have at least one lane of traffic open at all times on both northbound and southbound US 41 during construction. This does not include closures by local authorities for accidents or unusual incidents (s
uch as weather).
Lineville Road
The demolition of the Lineville Road overpass at US 41 was canceled last week and canceled for this week due to predicted wet and cold weather. All local road closures connected to the demolition are also canceled. New dates for the demolition have not been determined.
