Agency Regulations and Disclosure - Monday, April 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm


 

Real estate licensees need to understand their representation status in all relationships to abide by the regulations, provide proper disclosures and manage their risks. Whether unintentional or subtle, discrimination is against the law. People have a right to live wherever they can afford to live, and REALTORS have an obligation to protect that right. Join us for a few hours to examine and modify your attitudes and behavior to treat all clients and customers equally. Be assured you will pass a tester's investigation with flying colors.

2015 Changes for Realtor Emeritus


  • In addition to the forty (40) years of membership, a REALTORŪ Emeritus candidate member must also have completed at least one (1) year of service at the National Association level. 
  • For applications filed through 2019, the one (1) year service requirement may also be met through service at the state or local level. This provision will sunset at the end of 2019.
  • Please note that  "Service" is defined as serving as an officer, director, committee member, federal political coordinator, President's liaison or regional coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
  • April 3, 2015 is the deadline to complete certification forms for REALTOR Emeritus Status.
  • Applications must be filled out by association.
