Tax breaks for the year 2014 renewed

The House of Representatives passed a bill to renew the currently expired tax breaks for the year 2014. The "Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014" - containing the income tax exemption on forgiven mortgage debt and other expired tax provisions - will be sent to the Senate for consideration. For REALTORSŽ specifically, these real estate provisions have been kept in the legislation.
