Spotlight On Our Affiliates:
Michael Graber - GFI Mortgage Bankers
An important equation to keep in mind when planning for business growth:
Leads x Conversion Ratio = Total Business
As we approach the New Year and set goals for our business growth, there are a certain number of leads that must be obtained to achieve these objectives. Throughout my many years of experience as a mortgage professional, I have seen many try to reinvent the wheel and create new leads in obscure ways. For whatever reason, however, many within the industry abandon the easiest referrals available to us - the very clients we have worked with in the past.
Our past client database is typically only contacted once annually and only by mail with a calendar. There exists a general fear of calling on previous clients because we simply just don't know what to say. However, in order to truly grow our business, we need to overcome this fear and find a way to stay actively in touch with our past clients. Statistics show that more than 75% of home owners use a different REALTORŪ when they sell their homes. Why? One major reason for this change is because they simply lack the contact information of the original REALTORŪ. More so, the relationship they had formed with the REALTORŪ no longer exists.
A relationship is only as strong as its weakest link. Don't be the weakest link. Make the calls and see your business grow. Call me for advice and ideas on how implement an easy strategy to maintain and grow relationships with your past clients: 201-571-0816 or email mgraber@gfimortgage.com.
About Michael Graber Michael Graber has been operating as a mortgage professional for 10 years, and has closed over 50 million annually. Married for 12 years with 4 kids, he has lived in Bergen County for 8 years. He can be reached at 201-571-0816 or mgraber@gfimortgage.com.
