Each year the NJAR®Communications and Public Relations Committee presents awards honoring local boards and associations for their endeavors. Specifically, the awards recognize excellence in communicating with members either through print or electronic newsletters, websites, and social media.
This year, RealSource received the NJAR® Communication Award in the category of Social Media at the NJAR® Awards Ceremony at Triple Play for their Facebook Business page.
RealSource's goal for Facebook and other social media outlets is to provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to our membership on all things related to real estate such as local news, tech tips, and market updates. Free Monthly Market Indicators Reports for November 2013 Are Now Available
 The New Jersey Association of REALTORS® has partnered with 10K Research & Marketing to provide unique local, county and state market research to NJAR® members.
NJAR® members will be able to access data specific to all 565 municipalities throughout New Jersey, as well as county and state reports. These reports will be updated each month and are only available to NJAR® members.
Local Market Update for Bergen County
This is a 1 page report detailing activity for each municipality of a particular county in New Jersey. Local Market Updates are organized into single-family, townhouse/condo, and adult community categories.

Ridgewood Smoking Ban Proposed
The Ridgewood Council is weighing the pros and cons of a request to prohibit smoking on public sidewalks, specifically the village-owned walkways that abut all Board of Education and Valley Hospital properties. Read More...
Commuter parking ordinance adopted in Emerson with fee reduction for residents.
After pushback from residents, Emerson officials announced that they are dropping the proposed yearly price for parking on Emerson Plaza East near the Emerson Train Station from $350 to $250 for residents. The two handicapped parking spaces, originally included in the batch of parking spaces the council planned to charge for, will remain free. Parking on weekends will also remain free. Read More...
