Dear  :

We constantly are on the look out for ideas our clients may benefit from.   Recently we sat down with ADP to discuss their Workforce Now product.  It is a product that may fit the needs of many of our clients who do not have a dedicated HR department.   Our partnership with ADP will result in a 20% reduction of their rates for our clients.

This is NOT the ADP Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Total Workforce, where you share employees with ADP.   You do not have to join the PEO! Your employees are your employees , but you do need to have your payroll with ADP

Here are five components in the Workforce One product  that you can add to payroll that may be attractive.  We especially like the Human Resource Management feature.

ADP HR Video

  • 1) Human Resource Management
  • 2) Time and Attendance
  • 3) Human Capital Mangement (recruitment to retirement)
  • 4) Benefits Administration
  • 5) Health Care Reform:   Many aspects of Affordable Care management sit at the intersection of payroll, time and attendance, and benefits administration, which means ADP has the knowledge and resources that can help businesses manage ACA requirements.

If you would like to see some pricing options, send us an  email to  Bill or Vanessa today. Lastly we always try to support local events, check out the Children's Smile Coalition Young Heroes.

Sincerely,

Blue Cross has a great FAQ page, click here.   The actual application to apply for the credit is actually very easy to complete, click here

Blue Cross Healthy Actions

Check out this rider from Blue Cross. Both employer and employee can receive CASH.

It gives each employee who merely participates $100.  Those participants who are healthy or meet their goal receive another $200.

The real benefit is return of premium to the employer.  For example, if 50% of

your group receive the $300, the employer gets a return of premium of 2.5% of the annual premium.   Let us emphasize that again, 2.5% of your annual premium!!

The plan requires work on the part of your employees, but, if you can promote the plan, everybody benefits.  Email us if you would like more details!

Fallon has Healthy Healthy Plan which is included in the rates, allows employees to earn up to $200 but there is no opportunity for the employer to get any refund.

Blue Cross Pediatric Dental for Children under 19
By product of the implementation of the Affordable Care Act

Effective January1st, your health plan must now include Pediatric Dental Benefits.  All of the carriers have their own version of  how benefits will be covered.  Today we will review Blue Cross:
Comprehensive dental services
* Preventive Type 1:     Services at 100%
* Basic Type 2:              Services 75%
* Major Type 3:              Services 50%
* Medically Necessary Orthodontic Services
* No out of network benefits in MA
* No Maximum Benefit Amount for Carrier

A key item to note is that there is NO Annual Maximum Benefit per person.  Under ACA, you cannot have a maximum benefit, there is no maximum!  The maximum out-of-pocket with deductibles and co-insurance is $1,000 for single and $2,000 for family when pediatric dental coverage is provided.

*Out of Pocket Maximum now included in Dental
*Separate $1,000 per child/ $2,000 Family maximum (2 or more children)
*Separate deductible of $50/$150 also included
